High Season Price List - 2010
General Information
The reception is open from 7am to 9:30pm daily, however, the administrative and accounts are only available until 3:30pm.
Your cell phone and rechargeable camera batteries can be charged at reception. Please provide a charger and note that all items are left at your own risk.
There is a safe in the office for customers to keep their valuables.
There is a swimming pool which can be used throughout the day in the front of the veranda. Please provide your own swimming towels.
Beach towels can be obtained from the reception upon receipt of a deposit.
Coral Divers has full self catering facilities for self catered guests and 70 personalised storage fridges. Fridge locks are available. Cutlery and crockery are provided in the kitchen.
Self catered guests are more than welcome to join us for breakfast or dinner any time. However, if you book dinner it will be necessary to inform reception before 12pm on the day you want dinner. Prices are available at reception. A fire is lit on request in the boma braai area at 5:30pm.
Catered guests can expect a full buffet in the morning and the evening. Breakfast is served from 6:30am until 10:30am and dinner is served from 6:30pm until 8:30pm.
Takeaways are available from 10:30am to 6pm that can be ordered from the bar.
The internet facility is available in the TV/sitting area. Internet credit can be purchased from the bar. Public telephones are located outside near the boma.
A free shuttle service is available for all Coral Divers guests to and from the beach. It will leave from the pool deck 45 minutes before each launch and return after your dive.
Only 4x4 vehicles may drive onto the beach however they may not park in the launch site. All other vehicles must park in the beach parking area. If you are making use of your own transport and not using the courtesy shuttle then you will need to be on the beach 30 minutes prior to your launch.
The Silversands shop is the only convenience store located within the park. It is situated opposite the fuel pumps near the KZN Wildlife reception. It is open from 8am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and from 8am – 1pm on Sundays.
The nearest bank is First National in Hluhluwe, although there are ATM facilities inside the Silversands shop and out side the Spar in Mbazwana.
Dr Okesola is a GP whose rooms are located in Mbazwana. He may be reached on 035 571 0056.
Mseleni Hospital is 45 minutes from Sodwana and the number there is 0355741004.
Classique Aviation in association with Coral Divers has developed a Sodwana Bay air service. The flight time is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes long from JHB. A minimum of 4 clients is required. The plane will depart from Rand Airport in Johannesburg and arrive at the Mbazwana air strip near Sodwana Bay. Coral Divers will provide free cylinder and weight belt hire and vehicle transport to and from the Coral Divers camp. The cost of which is R2250 per person
OTHER SERVICES
In addition to the normal services and facilities you would expect from a dive resort, Coral Divers also offers the following:
Approved Air filling station - Our air fill station is maintained to a very high level, operated by experienced compressor operators and is a short walk from the beach.
Enriched Air/Nitrox Filling - We are able to offer Enriched Air fills, upon presentation of proof of Enriched Air Diver certification. The enriched air is available in the two most common mixes, EAN x 32 and EAN x 36.
Free transfers to & from the beach - We offer a free service leaving from camp to the beach ( ± 2km), leaving 45min before each dive time. This allows for ample time to kit up and prepare for your dive.
Equipment hire - Our equipment is regularly serviced to provide you with problem free diving. We have a large selection of equipment sizes, so you can find something to suit you.
NON DIVING ACTIVITIES
Sea Paddling - Experience an active, fun filled afternoon paddling in the bay in stable easy to master sit-on kayaks. We invite you to join us in our two man kayaks and have an adventure with a difference. This is offered free for Coral Guests and dependant on favourable sea conditions.
Body Boarding & Body Surfing - If you enjoy action adventure then this is for you! This takes place in the protected north beach area. Whether you prefer body boarding or bodysurfing, you are bound to have an enjoyable time in these warm waters. This is offered for free for Coral guests.
Volley Ball / Soccer / Touch Rugby - Still feeling energetic? Join us in the afternoons for beach volleyball, beach soccer or touch rugby on the soft sands of The Bay. Inter-team challenges will be arranged for the more competitive. Catch a lift down on our courtesy shuttle and come lounge on the beach if supporting is more your thing. This is offered for free for Coral guests.
All Prices are subject to change without prior notice
High Season Bookings - A minimum of 3 nights are required to make a booking in the high seasons. Each cabin/tent must have at least one diver, and that diver must do at least the same number of dives as the nights they will be staying. (Example, 3 nights = 1 x diver doing a minimum of 3 dives) Balance payment required 14 days prior to arrival. If we have not received your full payment we will assume you no longer require the booking and will therefore cancel it.
